The nominations for Officer Seats has come to a close. We had over 20+ Members at the Saturday's ABATE of Jasper County Meeting. The meeting went real well. You will have to catch the meeting minutes posted by our secretary Jay "PepperButt" Graves. The officers were nominated and will take their seats in October. Stepping down from Coordinator position is Billy Martini. Bill has been a great Coordinator and his direction will be missed. He is being replace with the now active Assistant Coordinator Ronnie "NightStick" Mole. Ronnie has been groomed by Billy and has been involved with ABATE for a great many years. We look forward to his leadership in the Jasper County Chapter.

Also stepping down will be Chuck  "RebelDog" Stewart as Treasurer. Chuck wear many hats and has been Chapter Treasurer for a great many years. Philip "Tennessee" Munden has accepted the nomination for Treasurer and will be stepping into that seat. Tennessee has been an upstanding, outstanding member for a great many years. He has the financial background to hold such an office. I am sure that we have elected the right person for the job.

With the present Assistant Coordinator "NightStick" moving up to Coordinator seat, Ty "Ozzie" Osborne has been elected and accepted into the Assistant Coordinator seat. Ozzie has been a great asset to the Chapter. He has been an active upstanding member of Jasper ABATE for a great many years. With Ozzie moving up into the Assistant Coordinator seat we have nominated and elected Mike Hughes to Sergeant of Arms. Mike accepted the nomination and was elected into office.

So the rundown on your ABATE of Jasper County Board is as follows...

Asst. Coordinator - Ty "Ozzie" Osborne
Sergeant of Arms - Mike Hughes
Treasurer - Philip "Tennessee" Monday
Legislative - Monty "CrankN" Godwin
Membership - Dianna " RedWidow Spider" White
Secretary - Jay "PepperButt" Graves

Looks like a great lineup. We ask that all members try and make as many meetings as possible. Our strength is in our members. With out them we are powerless as a group.
